HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY


Happy Australia day everybody!  I've got a new favourite drink - black russians.  If you don't know, they are a shot of vodka and a shot of kahlua over ice.  Awesome.  Totally worth the $9 they cost at the pub.

Not only is it Australia Day but it's also my housemate's birthday so this morning saw me sitting on the beach at sunrise with a few bottles of champagne, a bonfire and about 20 people, awesome night.  Managed to grab about 3 hours sleep today, quick post and then its time to go do it all again.

    @Smile - its the middle of summer here and I live about 5 mins walk from the beach so I get down there pretty much every day :D

    @Rose - its called a goon sack, one of the great australian inventions, it is a 4 or 5L sack of wine which is usually packaged inside a box. This young lady has removed said bag from its box and hung it from the washing line for convenient wine dispensing, and she is now drinking from the bag.

    White Russians kick the living everything out of Black Russians.

    But the milk/cream makes them a little filling and disgusting after a few.
    Also, they're like $10 each.
    Not the cheapest way to inebriated bliss.
