Back from the dead

It's been a long time between posts, over a month in fact!  I bet you thought I'd abandoned this blog to the mists of time, but I have returned!  Had a few things happening over the last month or so which made blogging fairly low on my list of priorities, but now I am back with a vengeance!  More funny pics today, and I've got quite the archive of unposted content for this blog so I will be updating daily for a little while at least.

Anyway, to anyone who's still checking this blog out, thankyou!  I've started my rounds again so will be checking out all your new posts, and commenting on them soon.

Ok so something a little different today, I was digging through my hard drive and came across these pics which I downloaded quite a while ago of awesome foods and recipes.  I'm going to claim that they are humour related because as well as being in awe of the creators of such paragons of culinary delight, they also made me laugh when I first saw them. So without further ado here are the first two of these great creations.  I'll post the rest tomorrow.

Wally or Waldo?

So I just saw this pic, and as well as making me lol it got me thinking.  It's Wheres Wally in Australia but Wheres Waldo in the USA.  Why is this?  Are there other names for Wally / Waldo around the world?  I dunno, I'm a little stoned and pretty drunk so right now it's a pretty interesting question, but I'm sure when I see this post tomorrow I'll think I'm an idiot.  Whatever! WOOHOO!

Get in quick this might be deleted tomorrow when I sober up :P

Movie: Braindead

Hey Everyone!  First of all, sorry it's been a while since my last post, I got a bit sidetracked.  I've decided that I'm going to update this blog every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  I might post other updates as well, but I'm going to commit to updating at least 3 times every week.

So I just finished watching this awesome movie and I just had to share it with you all!  Years before gaining acclaim for the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, director Peter Jackson was a less well knows director of b-grade horror films in New Zealand.  He made two comedy horrors, Bad Taste and Braindead. I'd seen Bad Taste years ago, but had never heard of Braindead, or Dead Alive as it was called in the states until today.  IMO this movie is better than Bad Taste by far, it's still crappy b-grade horror but I found mysself laughing at it a hell of a lot more than at Bad Taste.  Don't get me wrong, Bad Taste is awesome, but I just want to say that Braindead was, like, 10 times more awesome!

I really recommend you to watch this movie if you like a good comedy horror and don't mind a bit (or a lot) of b-grade gore.  Check out these clips to see what I mean.  I'll have a funny pics post coming shortly!
