A question for my blogger friends.

Figure 1.
Ok, apologies in advance, this post has nothing funny.  I need to ask you guys a question.  I have been really frustrated with one thing with blogger since I've started this blog, and it's this.  How can I get to somebodies blogspot profile when they follow me if they don't leave a comment.

For example, if I click on the icon for one of my latest followers, Dudemeister, I see a page (Figure 1.) which lists the blogs that he is following, but doesn't show his own blog.  If I click on his picture where he has posted a comment on one of my posts it takes me to his profile, which along with the blogs he is following, also shows his own blog (Figure 2.).

Figure 2.
What I want to know, is how can I view somebodies profile when they follow me, without having to have them post a comment.  There doesn't seem to be any way to search for profiles.  I have looked through the blogger forums and can find no answers, only people asking the same question.  Sorry if I haven't been very clear, any help is appreciated!

Also, sorry Dudemeister for using your profile, I needed one as an example.  Just look at it as free advertising ;)

  2. i don't think there is a way actually. also, i wish blogger would give us the option to be able to receive a notification when we get new followers.

  4. You've read my mind bro, the blogger help section says that if no link exists under their profile pic, then they don't have a blog to follow.
I know that at least 20 out of my 80 followers don't have blogs, but some of them do have profile pics, wich begs the question, why would you join blogger and create a profile pic but no blog?

  6. Well, this is a FAIL on the follower's part. He/She should've listed their blog link on their profile. That is why sometimes you see followers with a link to their own blog and sometimes without. Click mine and see what I mean.

  8. That was my initial reaction to blogger, hence the title of my blog. It is also my current reaction to blogger, hence the title of my blog.

I mean, it's kinda funny when you visualize it in an existential sense: Someone just signs up for blogger. Blogger shits out this bloated whalebus of fuck and trash. Said person starts raging. Blogger continues to leave Cleveland Steamers on said person. Perpetual cycle of fun. Etc.

  9. Ya it's up to the blogger to list their blogs publicly, which is a bummer when I see an insightful comment and I want to read more from that person but can't find their blog.

What really grinds my gears is that I don't receive emails when a comment needs moderating. I get an email AFTER I've moderated a comment, which is completely backwards.
